Annual publication is a “one-stop” resource guide and profiles the largest firms in the student housing industry
RALEIGH, NC – October 29, 2012 – The Preiss Company is proud to announce its recent inclusion in The Goldbook of Student Housing 2012, an easy-to-use, one-stop resource guide that contains every firm active in the student housing sector. Published by Student Housing Business Magazine, The Goldbook is currently in its second year of print.
The Goldbook lists company profiles by sector: Owners/Investors/Developers, Managers/Operators, Investment Sales Brokers, Lenders/Financial Intermediaries, Architects, Contractors, and Vendors. The Preiss Company was included in the publication’s profiles of the largest firms in the student housing industry—or the “Titans”. The Preiss Company was founded by company CEO Donna Preiss in 1987. The company currently employs over 260 team members and owns and/or operates properties in eight states and eleven markets. The Preiss Company operates 15,000 beds and has experienced 30% growth in the past two years and almost $130 million in acquisition and development in the past twelve months. The company recently opened its newest 288-bed development, University Village at 2505, in Raleigh and is breaking ground on One Eleven South in Statesboro, Georgia this year. The 700-bed, 192 unit will feature state-of-the-art interior finishes and amenities and will open in August 2013.
