The Preiss Company

The Preiss Company (TPCO) was founded in 1987 by Donna Preiss with a mission to maximize real estate investor returns. With herself as the sole employee, Donna quickly realized that location, communication, and market perception would all be crucial to her company's success. Although these key factors meant heavy expenses for the start-up company, they proved invaluable to establishing the entrepreneur as a key figure in the real estate market.

Today, TPCO employs over 130 people and provides a wide range of services including acquisition, property management, disposition, development, and consulting for multi-family real estate investments. We have formed over 50 partnerships, represented over 300 owners and investors, have been the developer or co-developer of over 20 projects in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Maryland, and are the largest or among the largest off-campus housing provider for North Carolina State University, Clemson University, Auburn University, University of Texas at Austin, and UNC Charlotte.
